The Norfolk Public Schools Foundation was established in 1991 and is dedicated to enhancing the learning opportunities for students of Norfolk Public Schools, and the community of Norfolk. We strive to create opportunities and experiences for teachers, staff, and students that traditional school funding cannot support. This includes scholarships for Norfolk Senior High graduates, Classroom Grants to support teachers and staff creating innovative classroom learning opportunities in the classroom, as well as other extras and special projects that benefit the school district! The NPS Foundation is proud to support Norfolk Public Schools!The NPS Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt 501c3 entity. An eleven member Board of Directors governs the organization with supportive leadership from the Superintendent of Schools serving as an ex officio member. Daily operations of the NPS Foundation are managed by the Executive Director. Vision Statement: It is the vision of the Norfolk Public Schools Foundation that every student will have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Mission Statement: The mission of the Norfolk Public Schools Foundation is to enhance and encourage learning opportunities for Norfolk students.
