I would like to take a brief moment to share some outstanding news with the patrons of NPS and wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Outstanding News:
For the first time EVER, our Norfolk Public Schools District has received an AQUESTT classification of great. Many of our schools have received great and excellent classifications in the past, but never our entire district. This is a direct result of the hard work that our dedicated staff performs on a daily basis to ensure our students’ success.
That hard work and dedication not only resulted in a great classification, it (more importantly) resulted in some very nice increases in our N-SCAS student achievement scores.
Our staff will be digging into this data further over the next few weeks to analyze our strengths and weaknesses and put strategies into place so that we can continue this upward trend into the future. We are committed to continuous growth and dedicated to our mission of ensuring all students are prepared to pursue their goals for the future!
