Nebraska World Language Distinguished Scholars Recognized

Norfolk Public Schools proudly announces the recognition of two students in the Nebraska World Language Distinguished Scholars list recently released by the Nebraska Department of Education. The World Language Distinguished Scholar Award honors students for their leadership, dedication to language learning, appreciation for cultural diversity, and communicative competence. Students were nominated by their teachers and submitted a portfolio of their work.

Emerson Widener (Sophomore) has been recognized with High Honors for Spanish Level 1 and 2. She was nominated by her teacher, Ms. Alecia Amezcua.

Aubrie Burke (Junior) has been recognized with Honors for Spanish. She was nominated by her teacher, Ms. Esmeralda Martinez.
