As the weather is getting colder, first grade has been talking a lot about what they are thankful for. They learned what it means to be thankful and talked about all the different ways that they can be thankful. After talking about the word, each class came up with 44 different things to be thankful for. Once completed, all the leaves were hung in the hallway to make a big wreath. Next, students came up with 4 things, on their own, that they were thankful for. They then took their items and placed them on turkey feathers. This led to them making Thankful Turkeys. As the year continues on, first grade will always be thankful.
