We are excited about third grade this year! The students are adjusting to third grade responsibilities more every day! Filling in their student planner, taking them home, and then returning them to school the next day is a huge responsibility we require of them everyday. Prime Time Family Reading is off to a great start at Grant Elementary. It started September 29th and will end November 4th. The students and their families attend each Tuesday for six weeks. We get together for a meal and then read books in the library. The story tellers, Miss Cronin and Mrs. Martinez, read the books in English and Spanish. GRANT RED RIBBON WEEK
October 5-9 is Red Ribbon Week. This is a time for students to learn what it means to be drug free and to pledge to be drug free. Grant has planned some activities to celebrate Red Ribbon Week:
