Mrs. Jones' Classroom News
We are off to a great start to the school year! We have 22 students—11 in Year 1 and 11 in Year 2, with 11 girls and 11 boys. It makes things so easy for Mrs. Jones! ????
We are enjoying learning about a new virtue each week and participating in activities that help reinforce what we’ve learned. We are also having fun learning a few new sign language signs each day. Be sure to ask us about some of the school and sea creature signs we know!
The most exciting news is that we have a class pet! We will be learning all about what it takes to care for our new leopard gecko classmate, as well as researching its characteristics and learning more about its needs.
Our routines and procedures are becoming more familiar each day, and we are doing a great job growing in our independence during work time. We are settling into our classroom community and are excited for all the learning, growing, and fun ahead!
