Third Grade News
We can't believe that it is already the second quarter of school. The third graders are a terrific group of students. They work hard each day to complete their contract work. We are studying the continents of the world. So far we have studied North America, South America, and Asia. They do such nice work on their Montessori puzzle maps. In math, the third graders are working hard on multiplication, and multi-digit multiplication. Division is next! With the Thanksgiving holiday, the third graders wrote about some of the things they are thankful for.
Dominic- I am thankful for the pilgrims because of what they did for our country.
Sam- I am thankful for my home, food, my brother, my school, my sister, my family, and the world.
Danielle- I am thankful for my family because without them I wouldn't be who I am right now.
Alexa- I am thankful for my cats because they are the nicest pets I could ever have.
Jacob- I am thankful for Mrs. Shoemaker. She teaches me everything I need to know.
Hanna- I am thankful for my friends. They always stick up for me and we do stuff to make us happy.
Payton- I am thankful for my friends because they are helpful and nice.
Maddox- I am thankful for my friends and family. I love them. I am thankful for all my teachers.
Lane- I am thankful for church, God, and life. I'm thankful for family, friends, and school.
Zoey- I am thankful for my great teacher, Mrs. Shoemaker, for all she does for me. She is the best teacher.
Brayden- I am thankful for my family. My family protects me and gives me food.
Kiran- I am thankful for freedom, life, food, water, and pets.
Eleanor- I am thankful for candy. It tastes good. I am thankful for screens because they are fun.
Jaisa- I'm thankful for my friends and family because they always have my back.
Blake- I am thankful for my family. My family buys all the food and stuff to take care of me.
Josh- I am thankful for Mrs. Shoemaker, books, school, friends, and video games.
Ryker- I am thankful for having my birthday on the 24th of November because Thanksgiving is 2 days after my birthday.
Kolton- I am thankful for Mrs. Shoemaker. She is very nice.
Carrington-I'm thankful for my house, my teachers, my family, and my great school.
