KINDERGARTEN NEWS
The 2016-2017 school year is off to a great start for the Montessori kindergarten class. We have 25 students in our class. We are still learning procedures and rules but so far we are doing a great job. We have been practicing numbers and colors. We are reading lots of books and learning how to move and work around our classroom with our jobs. Mr. Berryman, our principal, came and read a book about pirates going to school. It was fun!! It is really cool that we are big enough to talk about things like being responsible and respectful. We have 3rd grade buddies helping at lunch. They are so helpful and teaching us how lunch works. Thanks 3rd grade Buddies!! We are also working on having a quiet and peaceful classroom. We have made friends and we think kindergarten is a blast! We are excited about working on computers and iPods. It's going to be a great year!
We want you to know that .....Kindergarten ROCKS!!!!!!!!
