Montessori is working with the students on their manners and would like parents to also encourage this at home. Each month the focus will be on a different manner. Here is the list:
September - Saying Please
October - Saying Thank You
November - Saying Excuse Me
December - Greeting Others
January - Apologizing
February - Active Listening (eye contact/appropriate response)
March - Responsibility of Self (body control/voice control)
April - Sharing
May - Respect others and the environment
