Happy New Year!! 2023 was great but moving to 2024 we have a lot to look forward to! We have been working on fractions, multiplication, and division in our classroom. The Montessori tools moving into January will help us understand where to place our fractions on a number line, as well as how to tell what equivalent fractions are. Geometry had us learning about angles and quadrilaterals in the fall! Our students can look forward to practicing finding perimeter and area in third grade, and adding our angles together in fourth!
In reading and language arts, we are moving from antonyms and adjectives to adverbs and figurative language. We are so thrilled to be on this path of learning!
