Since most of you are not able to observe what is going on in Third Grade, I will give you a brief explanation! The third-grade classes have spent some time learning about animals and their inherited traits along with the life cycles of different animals. We have also learned about forces and interactions. Then at the end of the third quarter they got to reinforce their knowledge about science concepts during their trip to Lincoln Montessori for Big Red Keno Day of Science. This was a fun time going through rotations of using test tubes, magnifying glasses, microscopes, animal figures, and even a lever and pully system with a bowling ball! Both of the third-grade classes enjoyed their time getting to do some hands-on science learning!
