Upon completion of our Grant School One Book, The World According to Humphrey, Grant held two special events. Grant welcomed over 200 guests at Family Reading Night! Kids had fun passing the “hot” hamster, making Pete the Cat bookmarks, creating headbands, and more! Thank you to all who attended!
In the book, Humphrey the hamster learned that “humans like to be entertained.” The String Beans, musicians from Lincoln, Nebraska got Grant students moving and grooving with their hilarious and spontaneous family-friendly songs! Both students and staff had a wonderful time! It was certainly a fun way to wrap up our Grant School One Book! The “Read Aloud Committee”, a team of Grant teachers, is looking forward to planning new adventures for our Grant students in 2026!
