The Norfolk FFA traveled to Hartington on September 20, 2016 to compete in District 4 Dairy Judging. There are 14 schools in our FFA District spanning from Emerson to Verdigre. There were 126 high school judgers competing in three main areas. The students judge 5 classes of Dairy Cattle, completed a Dairy knowledge test, and answered judging questions about the classes. It was the first time for a few and the last time for senior, Hailey Walmsley. Walmsley said she was "very proud of how the members competed," and believes "it is great to have younger members startng to judge the cattle that produce the milk that makes yogurt, cheese, and ice creams we all enjoy."
