Norfolk High School hosted #Apply2College Day on Thursday morning, October 18. The NHS Counseling Center organized the event as part of an initiative to encourage high school seniors to explore college options. Representatives from a dozen colleges and universities were present in the Norfolk High School gym, eager to answer questions. Students were encouraged to sit down at a table and complete an online application if interested. In addition to meeting with college representatives, students were given an opportunity to obtain a FSA ID, request transcripts, take a photo with the school pennant, and enjoy some donuts and juice. Many NHS Class of 2019 members participated in this event funded by a Norfolk Public Schools Foundation Grant.
