Norfolk Public Schools is proud to celebrate former Norfolk High School Head Football Coach Dan McLaughlin, who will be inducted into the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame on October 4th, 2026, in Lincoln. NE.
McLaughlin has made history as the only coach in Nebraska football history to lead three different schools to state championships including Broken Bow, Norfolk Senior High and Millard West.
During his time leading the Panthers, McLaughlin guided Norfolk High School to the 1994 Class A State Football Championship.
His successful coaching career and lasting impact on Nebraska high school football are being recognized with this well-deserved honor.
